“The Star decided to go with a huge head: FEAR
30 DEAD 300 MISSING and a dramatic picture of
the helicopter rescue of a couple from the roof of a
house. The Tely used my picture of Constable Rich-
ard Stock in the Humber six columns wide and a
bylined feature I wrote of the attempted rescue.
